Mysore holds a charm that’s hard to forget — ancient trees, peaceful surroundings, and beautifully kept streets that make the city feel timeless. This painting is inspired by one of my favourite corners inside the Mysore Palace grounds, where the majestic palace reveals itself quietly through layers of trees. 

Since the canvas couldn’t capture the full grandeur of the palace, I brought in another piece of spiritual heritage — the serene Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple at Melkote. The gentle play of light on the leaves, the pond, and the stones creates a sense of invitation, almost as if the pathway itself is guiding you inward. That’s why I call it: Gateway to Divinity.
